“The $25 Blessing” ministry in which the church commissioned members to use to bless someone else has resulted in our being blessed in significant ways. A number of members who have donated the $25 they received from the church plus an additional amount from their own resources. Several families came together to help underwrite the costs of sending two children to a summer camp that would otherwise not been able to go. It is that kind of generosity, compassion and awareness of the needs of our community that make the church the single most powerful change agent for good in our community. On behalf of the residents we serve, our Board of Directors and our staff, I want to thank the entire congregation for your intentional and deliberate efforts in making a difference in the lives of those we serve and our community.”
